The story behind Local Bestie
Hi, I’m Kayla. I’m 32, I started out in education, and I never thought my career would land here — but looking back, the signs were always there.
When I was a spray tan artist, I made every single post myself. I loved the creative side as much as the service side, and I realized that helping a small business look beautiful online was something I genuinely enjoyed.
Today, I create content for two local businesses — a floral shop and an esthetician studio — and I’ve seen firsthand what happens when a business owner finally stops staring at a blank caption box.
